1: System File Checker
sfc /scannow
To issue this commend you need to start Command Prompt with admin rights.Don't worry its easy just follow this steps- Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
- Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
- If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
2: Driver Query

In this commend you need not Admin rights but you can also do it with Admin rights
3: Ping
ping 192.168.1.1
This command use to check your Local internet connection.Just type ping and enter the ip or url you want to ping .
4:Ipconfig
ipconfig /all
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
This commend is used to check Internet Connection settings .
5:Tasklist
tasklist
tasklist -m
tasklist -svc
This command will Displays a list of applications and services with their Process ID (PID) for all tasks running on either a local or a remote computer
6: Taskkill
taskkill -pid 4104
taskkill -im iexplore.exe
This command Ends one or more tasks or processes. Processes can be killed by process ID or image name. to end a task with command you have to pid no by issuing tasklist commend
7: Nslookup
Nslookup dc1.contoso.com
Displays information that you can use to diagnose Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure. Before using this tool, you should be familiar with how DNS works. The Nslookup command-line tool is available only if you have installed the TCP/IP protocol.
8.File Signature Verification

Microsoft has a tool in place in Windows 8 | 7 and Windows Vista called sigverif.exe or the
File Signature Verification Tool which helps you identify unsigned drivers.
9.Shutdown Shortcuts
The shutdown command is particularly useful on Windows 8. You can use it to create your own shortcuts and place them on your Start screen or desktop, allowing you to more easily shut down Windows without digging through the charms bar or logging out first.This command can also be used to restart your computer. On Windows 8, you can even use a special switch to restart your computer into the advanced startup options menu.
- Shut Down: shutdown /s /t 0
- Restart: shutdown /r /t 0
- Restart Into Startup Options: shutdown /r /o
10.List Network Connections and Ports
The netstat command is particularly useful, displaying all sorts of network statistics when used with its various options. One of the most interesting variants of netstat is netstat -an, which will display a list of all open network connections on their computer, along with the port they’re using and the foreign IP address they’re connected to.
