We all use USB in our everyday life. And There might not be a person who didn't faced above problem. Intel introduces us with USB but Microsoft it to a next level with it's Windows. It's very user friendly but above massage troubled us all. Well when you will go to Microsoft , Microsoft is going to say "That's not Windows problem, It's your Motherboard problem" further wasting your time Let's try to fix it .
Solution:
1.Go to Start>Run Type "Devmgmt.msc " hit Enter। Then Device Manager window will pop up.
2.Now Click on “Universal Serial Bus controllers”
3. Go to "USB Root Hub" and right click on it ।Find"Properties"and click On it a box will pop up.
4.Click On Power Management Tab.
5. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power " Do the same for all USB Root Hub.
6. Then go to "Action Menu"Click On "Scan for hardware changes" If it works , close "Device Manager"
7.For Xp check if your "usbstor.inf and usbstor.pnf" files are in right place "C:\WINDOWS\inf "
8.If you are run your PC from Standby or Hibernet Option This massage can be shown.
9.Microsoft recommend to Update your Service Pack get rid of this.
10. Clean your USB port it can be for dust .
Don't forget to check your USB Driver condition. Sometime Damaged Driver caused this problem . Thank you!
